Saucy vs. Stately

Two-Faced Fabulous Lace:
Saucy vs. Stately!

*Saucy Lacey*

Shown here with the glorious Alexandra (and fellow sister in lace!) before a night out on the town, I chose an edgier creation to be paired with the pink lace top! By wearing just a black (push-up!) bra, a black layered mini, black velvet flirty pumps, a black sequined bow in my hair and simple diamond chandeliers, this creation summoned MANY compliments!

*When going out dancing or out with your man, try just wearing a bra under your all lace top (or any see-through top) for an extra saucy look! You will undoubtedly draw attention from your guy & jealous/envious onlookers! Bask in your glory!

*Stately Lacey*

Obviously worn to work (do note files in background that make me look really important! Ha!), I tamed the saucy side of the lace simply by adding a black tank underneath. This creation becomes ultra stately by adding a black high-waist skirt and, naturally, I threw my black wedges into the mix for a little taste of edginess! This was taken in Summer hence why my toes are exposed! My clover-esqe silver hoops & low side ponytail tie the creation together with grace!

*That top that you love but is COMPLETELY see-through? Wear it! A contrasting tank can fix any transparency issue! And remember that you can always add a little edgy accessory and keep your creation stately. Just choose wisely!

Fun Fashion Friend of the Month!

Introducing Ms. June:
*Brittany*

A fabulously dramatical best friend of mine for going on 6 years now is super sexy Brittany! Soon to be the world's hottest teacher, Brittany has a killer bod & fashion sense to match! Here are a few of my favorite creations of hers!

*Event Appropriate*
Who hasn't dreamed about a hot teacher? Well for her students, she is the object of those day dreams! This short but sweet floral dress not only says "I'm stylish" but it also screams "I'm know what I want". The cut of this dress is conservative on top but nice and short to show off those long, toned legs! With simple black strappy heels to boot, Brittany makes graduating look damn good.
*I love her choice of dress for this occasion. Considering the event is amongst family, friends, peers & professors, her elegant but edgy dress is the perfect choice.

*Lean, Mean, Dancin' Machine*
Brittany is the hot teacher not only in grade school but also in dance school! Though this creation was for a night out dancing with the girls, her not-super-flashy but rather undercover sexy is evident in this look. Pairing skinny jeans with a skin-tight white & black print top (though you can't tell the back of this top is complete black see through lace!), and killer black stilettos, Brittany's lean figure is most smashing in this outfit!

*I love her seemingly conservative/truly sexy style. She gives sass to simple! And who wouldn't die for a body like hers?!
*New Year's Eve Babe*

Getting the perfect dress for NYE is a daunting task. Brittany makes this look easy by pairing style & grace in this simply sexy skin-tight purple mini. Rockin' her absolute favorite color, Brittany's shape is showcased in this curve grabbing, traffic-stopping mini! By adding a fun gold headband and gold peep-toe stilettos, she lets her purple mini have all the attention!
*I love that she pairs purple with gold. I highlighted Alexandra (Ms. March) for the very same thing!

*Clever Casual Cutie*
Majestic beauties that we both are, Brittany looks positively fabulous in her casual cute look worn to my house-warming party! With a long gray tunic, black leggings (a staple!), black strappy sandals and a (seemingly) black under top, Brittany is a portrait of casual chic. What makes this creation "clever" is the fact that her black under top is really a strapless bra! Giving Brittany a fantastic sweetheart neckline, the bra really is the pivotal piece in taking a somewhat drab creation into a glorious one!

*I love Brittany's bravery in wearing her strapless as a top. She's a ballsy gal and I absolutely applaud & admire her for this!

*Lookin' for Some HOT Stuff*
I chose this creation precisely because it is a Summer-Ssential/Trans-Seasonal creation! It's a double doosy! Sporting a simple black tank (another staple for every woman's closet) and a skin-tight black & white striped mini, the mini is an absolute summer-ssential but the fact that she chooses the black tank makes this trans-seasonal! Just imagine this same creation with tights, a cardi & high-top black boots!

*I love this creation for how it highlights her glorious legs ( I'm jealous...can you tell?) and her perfectly proportionate hoots & booty. Not heavy-topped, just like me, this tank gives her just the right amount of emphasis without having to stuff a bra!!!
**As always, a big thank you to Brittany and a massive "hoorah" for being such a strong woman and never letting anyone miss a laugh. Love you Little Sala!!!**

Trans-Seasonal

For the Love of Versatility:
Trans-Seasonal Pieces!

Have you ever felt yourself wishing you could wear that fabulous statement dress in summer & winter? Ever feel like your wardrobe is strictly seasonal? Only being able to wear certain pieces select months?
Your worries can be over with the help of ACCESSORIES!

*Being a "Babydoll" in Summer & Winter!*

This gem of a white & silver babydoll dress (purchased by my mom and THANK GOD she didn't really love it after all!!!) is unique, sexy and sweet all-in-one!

Summer- My sunny summer version of this piece included my adored brown woven center belt (empire waistline) with my most comfortable brown jeweled wedges and simple brown & white bangles.
*Seeing how brown is a warmer tone, pulling these hues on top of the stark white babydoll Summerfied the creation!

Winter- My snow-bunny (theoretical seeing how I live in Florida!) version of this piece truly lets the babydoll have all the attention! By adding solid black tights, low-top black ankle boots, black & silver jewelry and a silver headband, this creation becomes a completely different look!
*In contrast with the warmth of brown, the cool, crisp and timeless black accents make this babydoll winter appropriate!

*"Mod-dress" in Summer v. Winter!*

This glorious silk multi-colored ModCloth dress (a fabulous gift from my fabulous Lindsay!) is a primo rarity amongst dresses. With its perfect just-above-the-knee length and complimentary colors, this Mod-dress became an insta-fav for me!

Summer- Loving the heat of summer, even in NYC, I wore the Mod-dress in its traditional form baring all my shoulders and back! The creation was topped off my black & bronze center belt (high waistline), bronze multi-hooped earrings (compliments of the thrift store) and black platform wedges!

Winter- Shielding my shoulders & back from the cool weather, I chose to add a black with bronze buttons half jacket. Wearing the same black & bronze belt as in the Summerfied version, this creation differs with my simple bronze single hooped earrings & flirty black velvet pumps!

*Do note that these Trans-seasonal looks have the same differing piece: shoes! As a rule of thumb always remember: Summer=Toes Out & Winter=Toes In!

Up & Down x 2

The Glory of Double Trouble:
Two Up & Downs!

These Up & Down duos showcase two fabulous tye-dye style pieces in their workplace form & their home time form!

*Green Goddess*
The first photo depicts the workplace/"Up" creation using my Green Goddess dress (which was purchased on-sale at Saks!). To formalize this look I chose to sweep my hair back in a low side bun (a regular choice for work for this girl), big gold "ball" earrings, a stunning Cameo RJ Graziano necklace, a skinny brown weaved belt and a pair of brown jeweled wedges (the MOST comfortable ones I own... purchased at HSN).
In contrast, the second photo depicts the home time/"Down" creation shown here with my arm candy;)! To casualize this look I chose to wear my hair down, a thick brown belt, simple bronze drop earrings (hard to see here) and flat camel boots.

*Change the look of your dress by wearing your center belt at different levels. In example, my "Up" waistline would be an empire, Jackie Kennedy-esqe, by wearing the belt just above your hips accentuating a slim waist! My "Down" waistline would be a center torso, directly under the boobs, which accentuates your hoots!

*70s Chic*

This "Up" creation utilizes the 70s chic piece as a tunic top. Paired with dark skinny jeans, a navy blue Ahh-Bra by Rhonda Shear (to cover that pesky bra strap in a very fun way), my beloved skinny brown weaved belt, my peace sign earrings and another fabulous pair of brown wedges with silver studs (compliments of HSN!) this creation was a hit on Casual Friday!
With many similarities to the "Up" version of this creation, the "Down" form lacks one big thing.... Pants! Certifiably a mini dress, I casualized this look with my 6-year old brown flip flops (I refuse to get rid of them!), still wet hair and no make-up. Never fear no-makeup! "Make-up" by being a little daring with your outfit choice so the focus is on your creation instead of your lack of face paint!

*Explore some of your tunics for their actual length. It is easy to buy a tunic/dress and immediately categorize it as only one or the other when you really have two options in one piece!
