A Week at Work

Everyday Fashion:
My Law Office Garb

*Monday*

Here I've paired my simple chocolate leggings with an off the shoulder red blouse (long enough to cover the cheeks which is super important with leggings!). To camouflage all of the bare skin I have on display, I added a chunky multi-strand necklace to distract. A simple brown belt to give me some waist and matching flat boots to stay professional and comfortable.

If you're practically blind like me, YOU HAVE A STEP UP IN THE FASHION REALM! My best suggestion is to have at least 2 pairs of fabulous glasses to interchange and match to your outfits. As you can see (possibly through your four-eyes), I wore my gold Fendi rims to contrast the brown hues of the creation!

*Tuesday*
Here in Florida, we have no definite seasons. Therefor we must be prepared for any kind of weather conditions! My rain boots are one my favorite accessories because they're not only fabulous and "LOUD" but incredibly practical.
On this cold, rainy day, I busted out my rain boots and, once again, resort to solids to accent my boots. The taupe dress was off set by my sweater-esque cream tights with a multi color/beaded gold necklace to tie in my boots. As you can probably tell, I chose the boots first!

*Wednesday*
This outfit is the perfect example of why you should try on anything that you think looks cute on the hanger. You'll probably find yourself thinking, "Why should I even try it on? It's not like I'll actually wear this..." TRY IT ON. Don't think twice about something that caught your eye. You would be surprised how many pieces you love once you put them on. That's the first big step!

That being said, on this day I woke up late and made the vital mistake of NOT laying my clothes out the night before. Luckily for me, I dug through my closet and found a solid black jumper that I had purchased a while back and never wore. I threw on the "onesie", paired it with a cotton gray embroidered jacket, a matching gunmetal vintage locket, and Prada flats.
It was a fab creation in seconds flat!

*Thursday*
I want to begin by saying that I call this my "being brave with color" outfit. I've justified my rather brilliant blue cotton skirt with the fact that I normally rock the cardigan with jeans and my jeans are blue (duh). I added my flat cognac Twiggy boots to liven up my otherwise dull outfit.
Never be afraid of the "Mom" sweater. You'd be surprise how sexy and exciting they can be! (More to come on this topic in the future!)
*Friday*
Who doesn't love casual Fridays?! Here I've taken my plain cream sweater and jeans duo and spiced it up with accents of black & bronze. Wearing a black Rhonda Shear "Ahh-Bra", my black Prada frames, a black & bronze funky belt, and black boots with the fur, I felt the outfit needed some color. That's where I added my turquoise, rhinestone, and bronze necklace and turquoise ring.
